Bulldogs vs. Orioles

The Boys basketball team hosted county and conference rival Avon on the last day of the semester looking to collect a conference win before the holidays. After a back and forth battle in the first quarter, the Bulldogs were able to take a 3 point halftime lead. A big basket by Packard Rozzi from Cameron Alford to end the 3rd quarter kept the scored tied headed into the fourth quarter. Alford and Rozzi connected again on the first play of the 4th quarter to give the bulldogs the lead they would not relinquish as Brownsburg finished off the Orioles 50-45. The Bulldogs were very balanced with 6 players scoring between 3 and 13 points. The two teams battled to almost identical statistics with Brownsburg connecting on a few timely shots and connecting on most of their 13 fourth quarter free throws. The two teams will match up again right after the holidays in the first round of the county tournament hosted by Brownsburg.
