Bulldogs Place 2nd at HCC Tourney

The Girls' Varsity Tennis Team finished second in the HCC tournament this past Saturday!  It was a highly competitive tournament, featuring four state-ranked teams. The Bulldogs fared very well, coming out with two champions at the #2 and #3 singles' positions and runner-up at #2 doubles.  Kara Mehringer came in with the one seed at #2 singles and left with the championship.  Payton Haygood entered as the number two seed at #3 singles and took home the top prize.  Our number two doubles team of Hailey Blood and Lily House made it to the championship and lost in a tight third-set tie-break. What a great day for the entire team!  Thank you to all who came to support the Tennis 'Dogs.  Varsity and JV will play at Plainfield on Tuesday at 4:30.
