Tiger's Defeat Bulldogs

The Girls' Varsity Tennis Team lost 3-2 against HCC rival Fishers. Number two singles' player Kara Mehringer and number three singles' player Payton Haygood once again won in straight sets.  Mehringer and Haygood maintained control with great fundamentals and footwork.  Number one doubles teammates Caitlin Preda and Kristina Petrovic nearly pulled an upset in a third-set squeaker, dropping it at 7-5.  Great match and great tennis by all.

The team will play again this Saturday in the Brownsburg Invitational starting at 10:00 on our courts.  The second and third rounds are scheduled for 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.  Come on out and shout for our Bulldogs!
