Girls Tennis Finishes Strong in HCC Tournament

The varsity girls' tennis team finished with a very respectable tie for 4th-place in the HCC tournament on Saturday!  The teams of Zionsville (ranked #15) and Noblesville shared first place, HSE (ranked #15) narrowly held onto third place, and the 'Dogs took fourth (just one point behind the Royals).  The Bulldogs had three All-HCC winners!  Katie Bullock was named All-HCC at #1 singles, Senior Victoria Stevens was All-HCC and champion at #2 singles, and the doubles team of Natalie Weisman and Emily Doehrman were All-HCC at the #1 doubles spot.  The girls put in a very long day due to weather delays, but they certainly managed to maintain focus and performed very well.  Thank you to all of the spectators who made the trip to HSE to support the girls.  Sectionals begin this Wednesday at Avon.  Match times will be posted after the draw on Monday night.
