Girls Soccer Ties #11 Fishers

The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Fishers on Wednesday night to play the number 11 ranked team in the state and HCC opponent.  Much of the first half was spent back and forth with no team really developing much of a rhythm.  The Lady Bulldogs came out with some halftime adjustments and played very passionate soccer going up 1-0 on a corner kick with a goal by Lizzy Edwards.  Fishers struck back about 10 minutes later on a corner as well. Brownsburg controlled much of the second half and came through at the 12 minute mark off a great set piece from Grace Ulmer.  The Bulldogs had things under control until with 2 minutes left when Fishers tied the score at 2-2.  Overall, a good performance for the girls. Notables for the game include Lizzy Daniels and Grace Ulmer both with goals.  Assist by Alison Hieston.  Strong performance from our backline including Sarah Weller, Katie Brinkers, Ashley Ayres, Carrie Lawson, Natalie Parks, and Mackenzie Caron in goal.  Next match is this Saturday at HOME against Noblesville.  Please try to get out to support the Bulldogs !
