Bulldogs Battle Against Plainfield

The Lady Bulldogs finally played a game on our home turf last night, after several soggy and stormy days. The girls came out a little sleepy (and I am sure very cold) and were not playing up to their potential. After Plainfield put in two goals, the Bulldogs were ready to work in the second half. We battled the very physical Plainfield team. We completed several passing combinations, and finally Carrie Lawson found the back of the net. After several free kicks and a missed shot inside of the six, we just could not put in another goal. Unfortunately, the score board did not reflect the effort we gave in the second half. The Lady Bulldogs lost a hard fought match to Plainfield 2-1.
