Girls Place 5th

This past Saturday the girls varsity "white" golf team played exceptionally and finished fifth in a 21 team field at the Lafayette Invitational tournament shooting a season low 344. The field included several state ranked teams. Leading the way was Abby Cody who shot an 80. That score was ninth best in the 105 player field. Next was Chloe Brumley who carded an 87. Chloe had a strong finish shooting even par on her final 4 holes. A near hole in one by Lillie Gillespie was a highlight for all. She finished with an 88. Emily Breslin carded an 89. She played her first three holes at even par. What a great start. Freshman Brooke Lyngholm participated in her first invitational shooting an 91 bee sting and all. The girls travel to Prestwick golf on Wednesday. Go Dogs
