Bulldogs Swing to 4th Place
On Saturday, the Brownsburg (Purple) golf team traveled to Cascade Golf Course for the Bloomington Invite. Despite playing against 2 ranked opponents, the 13th-ranked Bulldogs had a solid finish, 4th overall with a 329. #2 ranked Evansville North came in with a 303, # 4 Columbus North shot a 307, and Martinsville took the third spot trophy with a 319. Thirteen other teams finished behind Brownsburg for the tournament.
Individually, Sophomore Hannah Thomas led the way for the girls with her best career score of a 79 for 18 holes. Junior Darcey Brinker and Freshmen Marissa Kier made our competition take notice with solid performances of 82's. Macy Stapp finished Brownsburg scores with an 86. Morgan Kier battled for her 89.
