Bulldogs Fall to #12 Quakers
The Brownsburg Girls' Varsity golf team lost to #12-ranked Plainfield Quakers on their home course. Playing both a varsity and junior varsity team, the leading overall score for the Bulldogs was Morgan Kier with a 41. Macy Stapp, Abby Cody, Kyleigh Leaf, and Darcey Brinker all scored 43. Marissa Kier and Brooke Lyngholm scored well for our freshmen with 47's. Hannah Thomas and Emily Breslin were close behind with 48's. Finishing up with 51's were Chloe Brumley and Lillie Gillispie. Appreciation goes out to our two other freshmen who supported our team on the course, Chloe Miller and Isabella Roberts.
The varsity ladies scored 176 to Plainfield's 154 and Junior Varsity won their battle with a 179 to Plainfield's 223.
The next competition takes the golfers to South Grove Golf Course on Saturday for the Ben Davis Invite.
