County Champions

The Varsity Lady Golfers competed in the County Tournament this weekend and were crowned County Champions with a 1-stroke victory over runner-up Avon!  All five golfers came out strong for the Bulldogs and never let up.  Maddie Cody was the low scorer for the team, shooting an 82 despite a couple of rough holes.  Freshman Macy Stapp was very impressive her tournament debut, coming in with an 86.  Emma Wilkins had an excellent round, as well, shooting a 88.  Another great score was turned in by Freshman Morgan Kier, who had a 95, and Andrea Wesson brought in a 97.  The Dogs ended up with a 351, while Avon scored 352, Plainfield 365, Tri-West 431, Cascade 470, and Danville 504.  Congratulations to the girls on defeating their rivals and stepping up big for a County crown!  The girls will use their momentum to go into their next match against on Center Grove at West Chase on Monday.
