Softball Battles But Falls to Avon

The softball team fell to Avon in a high-scoring game by a final score of 12-7. Despite the loss, several Dogs had strong performances at the plate.

Offensive Spark:

• Izzy Neal led the way with a 3-hit performance, driving in 2 runs.
• AG Pogue chipped in with 2 hits and 1 RBI.
• Ashley Sylvia also had a strong day, collecting 3 hits.

Back-and-Forth Affair:

The game was a close one throughout, with both teams trading runs. However, Avon was able to pull ahead in the later innings.

Looking Ahead:

The Softball team will look to regroup and bounce back in their next home game against McCutcheon on April 26th
