Dogs Dominate Western Boone 4-0

The Dogs shut out Western Boone yesterday in a convincing 4-0 victory. The pitching duo of freshman Emi Freeman and Avery Toole stifled the Webo offense, combining for a shutout. Freeman, making her first varsity start, earned the win. Toole came on in relief and struck out eight batters.

Offensively, the Dogs got key contributions throughout the lineup. Lexi Gordon collected two hits, including a crucial RBI. Macy Twomey ripped a triple, driving in a run and scoring herself.

The Dogs look to keep the momentum going as they take on Zionsville at home, April 16th.
