Bulldogs Score 10 in first two innings
Brownsburg Varsity Softball team remained perfect on the season with a 15-2 win over the Pike Red Devils. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 10-0 score after 2 innings with a 9 run 2nd inning and the then added 5 more before the Red Devils were able to push 2 runners across in the last inning. Ally Carver and Brandy Mowery led the way for the Bulldogs offensive attack with 3 hits each, while Kayleigh Pate and Jessica Doctor added 2 hits respectively. Freshman Anna Carroll was 1-1 with 2 RBI's and CeCe Ridgeway contributed a hit and 2 RBI's as well. Jessica Doctor picked up the win giving up 1 hit and striking out 5 and Kayleigh Pate saw her first action in the circle and had 4 K's. The Brownsburg Bulldogs will resume play next Tuesday at 6:00pm when they host the Avon Orioles in the first HCC contest of the season.
