Boys XC Scores 3rd Place at Golden Bear Invite

On Saturday the Bulldogs traveled to Shelbyville to preview the semi-state course at the Golden Bear Invitational.  Battling extreme heat and tough conditions the Bulldogs rose to the occasion and came away with a strong 3^rd place overall finish.  Leading the way again was Alex Freeman (16^th), Christian Hammerly (18^th), Stuart Goedde (22^nd), Jacob Kodrick (25^th), and Tyler Nolan (32^nd).  After the five scoring runners there was a tie between the Bulldogs and conference foe and 14^th ranked Westfield for 3^rd place.  Coming though on the sixth-man tiebreaker was senior Colter Kaneversky placing 39^th, 5 places ahead of their 6^th man giving the Bulldogs the edge.  Leading the way for the JV squad was Panin Skiles finishing in the top 10!
