Bulldogs Run to First Place

On Saturday the boys cross country team hosted its first ever invitational on their brand new course.  The Bulldogs christened the new course by placing 5 runners in the top 10 and 9 in the top 20!  Leading the way for the Bulldogs was sophomore Alex Freeman in 2nd place running a personal best of 16:36 and was just out-leaned at the finish for the win. Following closely in 3rd, 16:45 was fellow sophomore Stuart Goedde, also a personal best, and in 4th senior Christian Hammerly.  Rounding out the scoring 5 was Tyler Nolan in 8th, 16:59, and Jacob Kodrick 10th, 17:00.  The Bulldogs edged Franklin Central for the win by 13 points! Personal best runs for the day included Colter Kaneversky, Kole Kelley, Trevor Nolan, Panin Skiles, Aiden Rademacher, Henry Hartley, Cole Kingery, Andrew Moodie, Ben Cornette, and Sam Mauer.  This performance also earn the Bulldogs the recognition of being ranked 25th in the state in the indianarunner.com rankings poll. This Saturday they will travel to Ben Davis for the BD Invite.
