Giants Too Much for Bulldogs

The varsity boys' soccer team met Ben Davis in a wild contest at home last night. After a gritty first half, the 'Dogs trailed 1-0 off a Ben Davis free kick. After two penalty kicks were award to Ben Davis in the first 47 seconds of the second half, the Giants went up 3-0. With a Bulldog effort, the boys battled back and tied the game up at 3-3 with goals by Angel Tapia, Brandon Crawford, and Axel Perez with just over 20 minutes remaining. The Giants were able to find the back of the net two more times on two brilliants strikes, and despite their grit and tenacity, the 'Dogs couldn't find two more goals and fell 5-3. The boys have a few days off before they are back in action Tuesday night at home versus Westfield.
