Bulldogs Blank Avon

Rivalry week is here, and last night state ranked #9 Avon traveled up to the Dog Pound to face the varsity boys' soccer team. Through a hard fought, gritty team effort, the Bulldogs defeated Avon 2-0 to earn their first HCC win in almost two years and their first regular season win against Avon since 2010. Noah Yohannes scored both goals and Jake Berry maintained his second clean sheet of the season between the sticks. The Dogs will be in action this weekend as they play three games the Great Midwest Classic at North Central.
