Girls' Cross-Country Team Finishes Fourth at State Preview

The girls' cross country squad came home fourth out of 35 teams by having a 1-2-3 punch near the front of the pack.

Sydney Lesko led the way with a top 10 finish, followed by Laura Bess and Maddie Webster in the top 20 out of a field of more than 300 runners. Carissa Damler and Kyra Joe Gaerke finished out the Bulldogs' scoring positions in a race that saw the girls beat numerous teams ranked in the top 25 state rankings.

The Dog of the Meet award went to Alyse Mitchener for breaking her personal record by a whopping 33 seconds.
