Boys Track Team Competes at Greencastle Indoor Invitational
The boys' track team turned in some outstanding results the Greencastle Indoor Invitational at Depauw University. The Dogs had individual victories from Blakelyn Green in the long jump (20'2"), Wyatt Rondot in the 1600 m run (4:41), Scott Hathaway in the 800 m run (2:05), and the 4 x 200 m relay team of Latrell Bandstra, Robbie Robbins, Torrey Nibbs, and Green (1:36). Hathaway ran to the improbable win after a debilitating year of blood pressure difficulties and only one week of track and field training. It was by far the biggest moment of the evening. Runners-up for the Bulldogs included Elliott Shaw in the 1600 m run, Jeremy Shupperd in the high jump and 55 m hurdles, and Ben Hendricks in the 3200 m run.
