Bulldogs Fall To Eagles
The Brownsburg Freshman Basketball Team was defeated by Zionsville Tuesday night. The Bulldogs came out strong in the first quarter with a 13-3 lead. In the second quarter, Zionsville peaked and went into half-time with the lead of 20-18. Brownsburg and Zionsville both came out determined in the third quarter, with Zionsville holding the Bulldogs to a one point lead of 36-35. Both teams continued to show their grit, which resulted in an overtime finish with Zionsville claiming the win, 57-56. The Bulldogs had a strong team effort and was led by Nick Ponti 15, Ean Alexander 13, Tabyas Grant 9, Corbin Daulton 7, and Derek Fudge 6. Willis Smith and Uriah Wade contributed 3 points each. The Bulldogs are back in action Thursday, November 29th, as they travel to Franklin Central.
