Girls Track and Field Claim victory at Zionsville invite
The Brownsburg Bulldogs dominated the Zionsville Invite, capturing first place with a score of 106 points! They edged out a strong field of competitors, including Harrison (86 points), Whiteland (83 points), and Avon (75 points).
Girls Shine Bright:
- Izzy Neal rocketed to victory in the 100-meter dash, showcasing her blazing speed.
- The 4x800 meter relay team, comprised of Hannah Oppy, Mackenzie Williams, Eden Wolfe, and Skyler Dickenson, displayed incredible teamwork and endurance, crushing their season best with a time of 9:59!
- Amiah Hamilton and Phoebe Brooks soared to new personal bests in the long jump, adding valuable points to the team's score.
- Sophia N'Gbesso displayed her prowess in the 100 hurdles, racing to a runner-up finish while etching her name in the BHS record books with the second-fastest time ever recorded in the event for the school!
- Scout Newman and Mackenzie Steel dug deep, setting new personal bests in the grueling 1600 meters and contributing crucial points to the team's victory.
Dominant Team Performance:
This win wasn't solely achieved by individual stars. Every member of the BHS track and field team stepped up and delivered, showcasing their talent and dedication across a variety of events. Their combined efforts propelled them to the top of the podium at the Zionsville Invite!
