Softball Celebrates Seniors with Win Over Lawrence North

Last night the 20th ranked Brownsburg Bulldogs defeated the Lawrence North Wildcats 5-4 in an exciting back and forth battle for senior night. Senior, Elissa Brown tossed the first 5 innings of the contest for the Bulldogs and freshman, Olivia Calero came in as relief in the 6th inning clinching the Win.

The Bulldogs started off the contest with a 2 run lead only to find themselves trailing 4-2 to the Wildcats in the fifth. Offensively, the Bulldogs were led by seniors, Kyleigh Vaught and Elissa Brown both going 2 for 3 at the plate and each having 1 RBI. The Bulldogs rallied to tie it up 4-4 in the 6th inning. Junior, Hayley Huff singled in the bottom of the 7th to get things started and sophomore, Marah Wood hit a line drive gap shot to right-center to bring Huff across the plate for the 5-4 senior night win!

The Bulldogs play again this evening at 6pm for a conference matchup against the Noblesville Millers. Come out and support your Dogs!
