Bulldogs Grab a Solid Road Win Over Giants

The Brownsburg Bulldogs took on the Ben Davis Giants Thursday evening and got their 11th win of the season to improve their record 11-4. Senior, Elissa Brown tossed the win for the Bulldogs, striking out 4 and allowing only 4 runs total. Freshman, Maddy Edwards came in as relief in the 5th inning and closed the contest out, allowing 0 runs scored and struck out 2.

The Bulldog offense strung together a total of 19 hits. Junior, Maicey Bedrick led the way going 4 for 4 with 2 doubles, and 4 RBIs. Seniors, Elissa Brown and Claire Flick were both 3 for 4 with a total of 3 RBIs combined. Sophomore, Mackenzie Bedrick was 4 for 5 at the plate and added 3 runs to the Bulldogs 13-4 win. Sophie Bosket, Sydney Rodeghier, Maddy Edwards, and Olivia Calero all added a hit to the offense as well.

The Dogs are back in action again tonight at their home field against the McCutcheon Mavericks at 5:30pm.
