Bulldogs Fall to HSE
The Brownsburg Varsity Softball team faced off against a tough Hamilton Southeastern last night in their third HCC matchup of the year. Despite a solid defensive performance, the Bulldogs fell to HSE with a final score of 6-1. Jessica Doctor pitched a complete game allowing 7 hits, 1 walk, and retiring 9 batters. With this loss, the Bulldogs drop to 8 and 6 on the season. Offensively, Carlie Weaver stayed hot at the plate. Weaver was 2-3 with two singles, while Karly Dickison, Ally Carver and Lucy Paczkowski contributed one hit each. The Bulldogs play three tough teams again this weekend as they compete at competitive the Carmel Invite.
