Bulldogs Lose A Tough Battle Against McCutcheon

Friday night the varsity softball team lost a tough game to perennial powerhouse, McCutcheon, by a score of 3-7.  The girls got down early, but they fought back to knot the game at three in the third with help from singles by Chelsea Conover and Shayne Zoller, followed by a Tori Martin triple and an RBI single by Astrid Koose.  A rough inning defensively cost the Dogs the remainder of the runs, but the girls never stopped fighting and out-hit the Mavericks in the end.  Rachel Fiscus and Kayle Comer did a nice job on the mound, and Kirsten Bartlett also did a good job offensively.  The girls have their big Strike Out Cancer game coming up this Wednesday against Fishers at 5:30.
