Boys' XC Places 4th at Southport Invite

The boys' cross-country team came home Saturday from the Southport Invitational with a strong 4th-place finish out of 14 teams! The individual highlight of the meet was the runner-up finish by Mark Bond, second only to last year's state track champion in the 3200 m run. Hari Sathyamurthy rebounded from a hip injury last week to place an impressive 16th out of 108 finishers.  c.  Devin Boone was the top Dog in the JV race, while Michael Powell and Keaton Mills earned "Dog of the Meet" honors by knocking nearly 1 minute off of their personal record times!
