Boys' Swim/Dive Competes at State Meet

The Bulldog Boys Swimming & Diving Team wrapped up a fun and exciting season by competing in Saturday's IHSAA State Finals.

 

The 400 Freestyle Relay team of junior Bradley Green, sophomore Kyle Baney and freshmen Joe Myhre and Vince Partlow finished 14th in the race, while the Bulldogs finished in a three-way tie for 46th place as a team. The Boys Swimming & Diving Team had not scored at the State finals since 2009.

 

Participating in Friday's preliminary session but not advancing to the finals were Myhre (20th, 100 Backstroke) and the 200 Medley Relay team of Baney, Green, Myhre and sophomore Joe Ancel (25th, 200 Medley Relay). Myhre established a new Brownsburg record in the 100 Freestyle (47.49) with his leadoff leg of the 400 Freestyle Relay on Friday night.
