Bulldogs Hold Bronchos Scoreless

The Varsity Football team traveled to Lafayette on Friday night to take on the host Jefferson Bronchos.  Behind a shut out defensive effort the Dogs took the victory 28 to 0!  Hunter Johnson scored the first TD for the team in the second quarter of play and Toks Akinribade followed his lead later in the quarter with another rushing TD.  Up 14 to 0 at the half the team came out with an attitude and stopped the Bronchos with a Caleb Cooley interception on the one yard line.  Cooley had two picks to go along with interceptions by Brad Guilinger and Victor Inglima.  Akinribade scored again from 60 yards out in the fourth quarter only to be topped by Devontae Allen with a 77 yard sweep for a TD!  The team will play the Harrison Raiders this Friday in the Dog House, see you on the field!
