Brownsburg Bulldogs - 2011 Sectional Champions
In the Sectional Championship game the Bulldogs defeated Avon 15-5. Isaac Sampen pitched 4.2 innings with 6 strikeouts and picked up the win. Mycha Whetstone pitched 2 great innings in relief with 4 strikeouts and gave up no hits. The team had 47 plate appearances in the 7 inning ball game. The Dogs had 13 hits in 33 at bats. Tyler Owensby went 3 for 3 with 1 RBI and scoring 2 runs. Jeremy Jones was 2 for 4 with 5 RBIs. Bobby Carr was 2 for 3 with a Home Run and 3 RBIs. Isaac Sampen was 2 for 3 with 2 Home Runs and 4 RBIs.
The 2011 Baseball Sectional Champion BROWNSBURG BULLDOGS play this Saturday June 4, 2011 in the Regional at Avon.
