Bullgogs Down Trojans

The varsity baseball opened the game at Center Grove with a 4 run first inning.  Center Grove answered in their half of the inning by collecting 11 runs on 9 hits and two walks which included two homeruns.  Sam Sampen entered the game in the bottom of the first and retired the side.  Sam continued to pitch a shutout over the next 4 innings.  Levi Slawta entered the game in the 6th in ning and continued the shut out as the game ended 14-11 Bullgogs.  The Dogs had 14 hits on the night.  Even being down 7 runs in the first inning the team didn't give up.  Bobby car had three hits to lead the offense.  Eight of the nine starters had at least one hit.  The only starter not to have a hit drove in the winning run with a long fly ball.   Coach enters the game at 62 years of age  and leaves the game at least age 65!  The team travels to Lafayette Harrison for a 5:30 contest this afternoon.
