Bulldogs Defeat Hornets on Senior Night

If you missed the wrestling Senior Night last night, it was pretty epic. Senior Night started by celebrating the current seniors: Maegan Starkey, Trevor Tietz, Delbert Harmon, Luke Huston, Jon Stinnett, and Billy Brown.

The JV squad went 1 – 1 with the Hornets. The regular meet started with a win for Devon Griffith, Senior Delbert Harmon tech falled his opponent. Following this, senior Luke Huston pinned his opponent in the first period, his twenty first of the year. Next, Conner Ludwig and Jake Marsh followed suit with pins of their own. Senior Jon Stinnett got his hand raised for a forfeit, and Senior Billy Brown got his hand raised with a pin in heavyweight class. At 106 Simon Mantlo lost a close match by pin, Andrew Dishinger and Jazz Suazo returned the favor by pinning on their own. Anand Tsogtbaatar received a forfeit, and Johnny Cimmerman and Zach Starkey both lost close matches. To end the meet, sophomore David Huston pinned his opponent in 21 seconds. Great job Dogs! The Dogs finish on a strong note and push their dual meet record of 10-9 on the year.
