Softball Continues HCC Winning Streak at FC

The Bulldogs took down the Franklin Central Flashes last night 5-0 to remain undefeated in the conference. The Bulldogs were hot offensively combining a total of 11 hits as a team. Junior, Marah Wood led the Dogs going 3 for 4 for the night with one of her hits being a homerun. Maicey Bedrick was 2 for 3 with a double, 1 run scored and 1 RBI. Other Bulldogs who added to the offense were Mackenzie Bedrick, Sophie Bosket, Anna Carroll, Maddy Edwards, Rachel Young and Hayley Huff.

                Freshman, Kelsey Endress was the star pitcher in the circle. She threw all 7 innings, striking out 8 and only giving up 2 hits. The Bulldogs will be back in action Thursday night at their home field against the Plainfield Quakers. Go Bulldogs!
