No. 6 @bhsdogsbxc claims Ben Davis Regional title

FULL RESULTS | IHSAA STATE TOURNAMENT

The Brownsburg varsity boys' cross country team won the 2019 IHSAA Regional 9 championship at Ben Davis High School on Saturday, October 19th. It was the third regional championship in the Bulldogs' program history. 

Avon, No. 6 Brownsburg, Ben Davis, Cardinal Ritter, Crawfordsville, Danville, Perry Meridian, Plainfield, Southport and No. 10 Zionsville all competed at the meet. 

Brownsburg snuck past HCC foe Zionsville to claim the Regional crown as the Bulldogs put up a 58-point performance. The Bulldogs had five of their runners finish in the top-20 individual times at the Regional.

Alexander Freeman (5th) came away with the top individual time for the Bulldogs. Trevor Nolan also finished in the top-ten.

Up Next

The top five finishing teams at the Ben Davis Regional all advance to compete next weekend in IHSAA Cross Country Semi-State 2 hosted by Shelbyville High School. The other feeder regionals for the Shelbyville Semi-State are Noblesville, Rushville Consolidated, Franklin Community. 

Brownsburg, Zionsville, Plainfield, Avon and Ben Davis all advanced to next weekend from the Ben Davis Regional.
