Bulldogs Tie Westfield

The varsity boys' soccer team journeyed to Westfield last night for an important HCC match. The Bulldogs started a bit slowly, but inspired play by Delijah N'gbesso and Max Harris sparked the Bulldogs. JD Jarvis and Noah Yohannes each scored to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead at the half. The second half proved was entertaining as the hosts leveled the game at 2-2, a Jacob Risser penalty kick gave the visitors a 3-2 lead, and a header off a free kick gave the Shamrocks the equalizer with under a minute to play. The Bulldogs move to 6-2-1 on the season, 3-1-1 in HCC play, and host Guerin Catholic on Thursday at 6:00.
