bhsdogs_gsoccer announces 2020 schedule

The Brownsburg girls' soccer team has finalized their schedule for the 2020 regular season. The Bulldogs will play a 17-match slate during including six contests at Our Pitch.
Brownsburg will open with the first of their seven Hoosier Crossroads Conference games as the Bulldogs make the trip to Franklin Central on August 15. Their first home conference game will not come until September 9th when Avon comes to Our Pitch.
The Bulldogs will also travel to Hamilton Southeastern (Aug. 26), Fishers (Sept. 16), and Zionsville (Sept.30) in the remainder of their HCC slate. Brownsburg will also play host to Noblesville (Sept. 19) and Westfield (Sept. 23).
A pair of out-of-state foes will be new to the docket in 2020. Brownsburg will travel to the state of Ohio to play Loveland (Aug. 28) and Mason (Aug. 29). Loveland finished last season with a 16-4 record and advanced all the way to the OHSAA Division I Elite 8. Mason posted a 12-2-4 record last year and saw their season end, at the hands of Loveland, in the OHSAA Division I District Semi-Finals.
The rest of the Bulldogs' non-conference foes are as they were in 2019. Brownsburg will host Brebeuf, McCutcheon and Plainfield and travel for matches against Cathedral and Center Grove. The Bulldogs will also play a pair of games in the ever-talented Zionsville Invite on Sept. 4 and Sept. 5.

Brownsburg is coming off a 9-6-3 season this past fall. The Bulldogs advanced to their first IHSAA Girls' Soccer Sectional championship game since 2012.
Brownsburg returns 12 players who saw action in at least 10 matches in 2019. That group is headlined by ISCA Third Team All-State selection Jayden Gibson. Grace Crawford and Kylie Conrad, the Bulldogs' leading goal-scorers last year, also return.
