@bhsdogs_gsoccer falls to Avon in Sectional Final

The Brownsburg varsity girls' soccer team ended their season with a 1-0 loss to Avon in the IHSAA Sectional 9 championship match. 

It was the first time that Brownsburg played in a sectional championship since 2012, but the Bulldogs weren't able to overcome a 27th minute goal from the Orioles. 

The Bulldogs battled to find the equalizer for the remaining 53 minutes in the match. Brownsburg outshot the Orioles 9-4 and poured numerous chances on the Avon net.

One of the best chances of the night came in the 71st minute from Kylie Conrad. Her shot from the top of the box hooked near the bottom of the net. The Orioles goalkeeper made a diving save to keep Brownsburg off the board. 

Ultimately, Brownsurg was not able to find the back of the net in the match. The Bulldogs finish the 2019 season with a 9-6-3 record.
