No.3 @BHSDogsWrestlin takes fifth straight Regional crown

The Brownsburg varsity wrestling team won its fifth consecutive IHSAA Regional Championship at Mooresville High School on February 8. The Bulldogs sent nine of their wrestlers to the Regional Final match and came away with four individual titles.

106-pound Logan Miller, 138-pound Drake Campbell, 160-pound Peyton Asbury and 285-pound Dorian Keys all came away with a Regional championship. Asbury's Regional crown was the first of his Brownsburg career while Miller, Campbell and Keys on all their second.

All thirteen Bulldogs advance to next weekend's IHSAA Wrestling Semi-State at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.

NOTES

The Bulldogs had the most pins of any team at the Mooresville Regional
No.1 ranked Logan Miller won two matches by fall and a match by tech. fall at the Regional
Miller's pin time of 0.25 seconds in the first round was fastest at the Regional
Leighton Jones was the lone freshman wrestler in the 220-weight class and ended up in 2^nd place at the Regional
No.1 ranked Dorian Keys held off a strong surge from Mooresville's 11^th-ranked Robbie Gentry to win the Regional final match
