Bio

Rondald, Ricky, Crider capped his third year at the helm of the Brownsburg Unified Track and Field program with the school's first IHSAA Unified Sectional championship. 

The Bulldogs have appeared in the IHSAA Regional every season since Crider helped launch the Unified Track and Field program at Brownsburg in 2018. It was Brownsburg's first efforts to sponsor a Unified sports program in parternship with the IHSAA and Special Olympics Indiana. 

Crider is also an Assistant Football and Running Backs coach for the Brownsburg Football program, where he works under his former high school head coach John Hart. In the spring, he is an Assistant Track and Field and High Jump coach for Brownsburg Track and Field. 

His football coaching career spans nine seasons with stops at Warren Central from 2011-2012 and Huntley (Illinois) from 2012-2016. 

Crider graduated from Evansville Reitz High School as the state's 6th all-time rushing leader. Crider, a first team All-Southern Indiana Athletic Conference selection and first team Associated Press Class 5A All-State selection as a senior, rushed for a school-record 2,478 yards and 33 touchdowns in 2005. He set school career marks with 6,356 rushing yards and 83 TDs under Hart while producing three of top five rushing campaigns in school history and three of top four Reitz single-season rushing touchdown totals.

Crider lettered four times in football and track and was a three-year state qualifier in the high jump. 

At the collegiate level, he graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Media Productions after a five-year stint on the Huskies football team. 

Crider and his wife of two years, Shannon, have a daughter, Kennedy, and a dog, The Almighty Thor.
