Boys' Swim/Dive Gains Another Win over Plainfield

The Dogs kicked off the meet vs. Plainfield with a win, starting with a 1st place spot in the 200 Medley Relay. The team of freshman Jamie Cameron, senior Nathanael Schaekel, junior Avarey Newman and senior William Scott won the event with a time of 1:43.89. 

Sophomore Caleb Peschke came in 1st in the 200 Free with a time of 1:48.63, junior Lee Grimes came in 3rd with a time of 1:57.82. 

Junior HCC Champion Austin Kehr won the 200 IM with a time of 1:58.91 and the 500 Free with a time of 4:48.27. Sophomore Owen Deater came in 3rd with a time of 2:13.70 and junior A. Newman came in 4th with a time of 2:14.37. 

Senior Schaekel took 1st in the 50 Free with a time of 23.38 and senior Scott came in 2nd with a time of 23.83. 

Sophomore Jacob Johnson came in 1st in the 100 Fly with a time of 55.33. Sophomore Deater came in 3rd with 58.57 and senior Scott came in 4th with 1:01.01. 

In the 100 Free, sophomore Peschke came in 2nd with a time of 49.74 and junior William Hasselbrinck came in 3rd with a time of 53.18. 

The relay team of sophomore Peschke, sophomore Johnson, senior Schaekel and junior Kehr came in 1st in the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:30.93. The team of senior Max Plodzik, senior Simon Koester, senior Scott and junior Lee Grimes came in 3rd with a time of 1:36.61. 

Junior A. Newman came in 1st in the 100 Back with a time of 59.86 and freshman Cameron came in 2nd with a time of 1:00.04. 

Senior Schaekel took 1st in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:00.92 and sophomore Johnson came in 2nd with a time of 1:03.07. 

The Dogs ended the meet with a win in the 400 Free Relay. The team of sophomore Johnson, sophomore Peschke, junior Lee Grimes and junior Kehr took 1st with a time of 3:21.48. The team of freshman Brayden Walters, senior Leister Perrin, junior Hasselbrinck and freshman Cameron came in 3rd with a time of 3:32.60. 

In diving, all three top spots were won by Bulldogs. Senior Kale Davidson came in 1st with a score of 220.4. Freshman Isaac Tweddell came in 2nd with 164.3 and junior Camden Anderson came in 3rd with a 161.5. 

The Dogs are back on Saturday, Jan. 18 at Noblesville at 10 AM.
