Boys' Swim Comes in 4th at HCC Invite

With a score of 274, the Dogs came in 4th in the HCC Invite this weekend. The conference invite was won by Hamilton Southeastern with a score of 430, closely followed by Zionsville with a score of 425.5. Fishers came in 3rd with 384.5 before the Dogs, followed by Westfield with a score of 194. Avon was next in 6th place with 162 followed by Franklin Central with 141 and Noblesville finished out the teams with a score of 89. 

In the 200 Medley Relay, the team of freshman Jamie Cameron, freshman Michael Williams, senior Nate Schaekel and senior William Scott came in 6th with a time of 1:44.13. 

In the 200 IM, sophomore Jacob Johnson came in 6th with a time of 2:00.72, dropping 1.15 seconds and came in 6th in the 500 Free with a time of 4:55.40, dropping an impressive 5.87 seconds. 

Junior Austin Kehr was an HCC Champion in the 50 Free and 100 Free, with times of 21.10 and 45.98.

Senior N. Schaekel came in 6th in the 100 Fly with a time of 54.66 and came in 3rd in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:01.12. 

The team of sophomore J. Johnson, senior N. Schaekel, senior W. Scott and junior A. Kehr came in 4th in the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:29.09. 

The 400 Free Relay team of sophomore J. Johnson, junior Lee Grimes, freshman J. Cameron and junior A. Kehr came in 4th with a time of 3:19.37. 

The Dogs are back on Tuesday, January 14th at home vs. Plainfield at 5:30 PM.
