On Saturday the 27th the Brownsburg Swimming and Diving teams traveled to the IUPUI Natatorium to compete in the Holiday Invitational. This is the third season the teams have competed in the event, last years runner-up finish by the women's team was the highest place any of the teams had achieved. This year, both the women's and men's team won the meet.
Women's scores were: Brownsburg 690, Greenfield Central 508, Bloomington South 504, Roncalli, 415.
Men's scores were: Brownsburg 660, Bloomington South 579, Greenfield Central 516, Roncalli 360.
Both Bulldog teams won with team depth.
Winning events on the day were:
Elise Dahlke in the 200 Free, Hannah Truax in Diving, Kale Davidson in Diving, Noah Berryman in the 100 Breast and the 200 Free Relay of Jake Johnson, Caleb Peschke, Will Scott and Austin Kehr.
The depth on the day was carried out with top 3 performances by:
Jenny Dreessen, Logan Replogle, Julia Stonebreaker, Maria Gutzweiler, Nate Schaekel, Caleb Anderson, Erin Mehringer, Erin Haycox, Brayden Walters, Margie Miller, Joley Clodfelter, Leister Perrin, Lee Grimes, Grayson Gutzweiler, Maria Scholz, Rory Smith, and Maranda Peak.
The teams will be in action next week, January 5th, when they compete in the HCC Championship at Fishers High School.
