Swim/Dive Competes at County Tourney

On Saturday the boys and girls teams competed in the 2017 Hendricks County Swimming and Diving Championship.

Both teams competed well, the boys finished a close third behind Avon and Plainfield while the girls won their first County Championship since 2008.

Top performances for the boys came from:

The medley relay of Jaws Wilson, Noah Berryman, Noah Pearson and Will Scott finished second.

Devon Anderson finished 3rd in the 200 IM and 100 Free.

Austin Kehr finished 3rd in the 100 Fly.

Noah Berryman finished 3rd in the 100 Breast.

On the girls side, the meet started with a big upset win by the girl's 200 Medley Relay of Jenny Dreessen, Madison Mehringer, Bailey LaPaugh and Maria Gutzweiler.

Logan Replogle went on to win the 200 and 500 Free events and Jenny Dreessen was the other County Champ in the 100 Back.

Posting big swims for the Bulldogs in other events were:

Maria Gutzweiler finishing 2nd in the 50 Free.

Emma Wolf and Hannah Truax went 2-3 respectively in Diving.

And Elise Dahlke finished 3rd in the 100 Free.

Both teams are off this week and will compete in the IUPUI Holiday Invite next Wednesday.
