Varsity Boys' Soccer goes 1-0-1 in Trojan Classic, named Co-Champions

The first game vs. Elkhart Central ended in a 6-2 victory. Goals were scored by N'gbesso (2), Yohannes, S. Garcia, Waltz and Harris. The Bulldogs controlled match from start to finish. Sammy Garcia earned his first varsity goal.

The second game vs. #20 Columbus East tied 2-2. Goals were scored by N'gbesso and D. Garcia. Brownsburg led 1-0, fell back 2-1, and Danny Garcia tied it up with about four minutes left. A would-be game-winning shot by Yohannes hit the post and went wide with three seconds left.

The Bulldogs were named co-champions of the Trojan Classic. This is the second consecutive year in which Brownsburg has had a share of the title.

Brownsburg is 1-0-2 on the season and plays at HSE on Tuesday.
