Boys' soccer ties Cathedral in season opener

The boys' soccer team opened their season with a tie against Cathedral on Aug. 21.

Brownsburg dominated the time of possession and had the majority of the quality chances for most of the first half. Cathedral knocked on the door a few times at the end of the half, but the game went into the halftime break knotted 0-0.

The second half was played more evenly throughout until Cathedral got on the board first with 27 minutes remaining.

Colin Porath tied the game for the Bulldogs with four minutes to go and the game ended in a 1-1 tie.

The team is back in action on Aug. 24 at Center Grove at 11 AM.
