The Bulldogs won a tough battle vs. the Noblesville Millers last night, finished by free throws by seniors Malek Edmonds and Jakobi McGowan

The Senior Night win puts the Bulldogs at a 17-3 record and first place in HCC with a 5-1 conference record. The game was evenly matched, with the Millers leading at the end of the 1st and at halftime. The Dogs continued to show their dedication and tenacity by coming out of the locker room for the second half obviously gunning for a win. The end of the 3rd quarter had the Bulldogs leading by 4, and eventually winning with a 50-46 win.

The Dogs were led by junior Pierce Thomas and senior Connor Lucas, with 17 and 12 points, respectively. Thomas added 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

Senior Malek Edmonds and junior Luke Lacey added 8 points each along with 4 rebounds each.

The final quarter was riddled with tension as the Millers and Bulldogs vied for a win. The Millers led 45-44 at 1:01 left in the quarter, the teams tied at 46-46 and then the Bulldogs led 47-46 with 8.2 seconds left on the clock. A round of fouls on the Millers gave Edmonds and McGowan chances at the free-throw line to push the Bulldogs ahead.
