Boys Basketball Ends Season vs Plainfield

Boys Basketball Ends Season vs Plainfield

Tuesday evening Brownsburg took the floor for the first game of the 2019  Sectionals vs Plainfield.  Plainfield jumped out to an early lead but Brownsburg made a good run to close the lead to 2 at halftime.  The Bulldogs had a lead going into the fourth quarter, but could not secure control of the game. The back and forth play was fitting of a sectional atmosphere.  Unfortunately too many mistakes and missed opportunities cost the Bulldogs as the Quakers pulled off the win 44-41.

The Bulldogs finish the season 17-7. They won the Hendricks County Tournament and finished second in the Hoosier Crossroads Conferencewhile ranked most of the season in both the AP and coaches polls.  The senior class of Richard Lang, Seth Harley, Jason Meeks, Ryan Wiggins, Reis Thomas, Gunnar Reffeitt and Cameron Alford helped Brownsburg compile a 55-19 record over the last 3 seasons.  In addition to winning 73% of their games, the seniors have added 2 County championships, 1 sectional title and the first conference championship since 2004.  We appreciated your contributions to the program and wish you the very best as you move on to life after Brownsburg.
