Bulldogs Fall to Southport

Brownsburg played at Southport to conclude their 2018 portion of the season.  After being tied at the end of the first quarter, the Bulldogs went cold from the field only scoring 9 points and trailed at the half by 7.  Southport extended their lead to ten points during the third quarter before the Bulldogs made a furious rally to tie the game late.  2 late free throws by the host Cardinals were the deciding points as Brownsburg dropped their last game of 2018 53-51.  Reis Thomas continues a great stretch of basketball as the senior shot the ball well and grabbed 6 rebounds.  Malek Edmonds grabbed six more rebounds and Cameron Alford handed out 5 assists and collected 6 rebounds as well.  Brownsburg will be back in action to start 2019 with the Hendricks County tournament.  We wish our Brownsburg community a great 2019 as you celebrate the new year.
