The Brownsburg varsity football team fell to HCC foe Hamilton Southeastern 28-25 to close their 2019 regular season. The Bulldogs scored 15 unanswered points to take the lead in the fourth quarter but eventually fell to the Royals.

It was a back-and-forth affair on Senior Night for the Bulldogs and Royals. The lead changed hands six times as both teams fought to end the season on a high note.

Brownsburg would score each of their touchdowns on the ground as numerous RBs saw action in the matchup. Preston Terrell led the receiving attack with 12 receptions and 167 yards.

The Bulldogs trailed 21-10 at the half but would make a thunderous comeback after the break. Brownsburg churned out a pair of drives that put 15 points on the board and gave the Bulldogs a four-point lead.

Brownsburg used a pair of goal line rushing touchdowns from Brandon Burks and Devin Jones to make it a 25-21 game at the beginning of the 4th quarter.

The initial touchdown came after a huge fumble recovery for the Bulldogs at the HSE goal line. What followed was a surgical 8-play drive and touchdown from Brandon Burks

After the Bulldogs grabbed the lead, the Royals used a long touchdown through the air to take a 28-25 lead and close out the Bulldogs.
