Bulldogs Take on #8 Zionsville
The Bulldogs were competitive once again in battling the #8 ranked Zionsville this past weekend.
In Friday's game held a 5-4 lead before succumbing to the Eagle offense and losing 10-6. Isaac Polen led the hitting attack with 3 hits while Travis Bevington hit a Home Run.
Saturday's game was a back and forth affair as the lead changed hands 4 times and BHS held a 6 run lead heading into the 7th inning. Zionsville scored 9 in the 7th to take a 3 run lead. The Bulldogs battled back with 3 of their own to tie. But the Eagle offense proved to tough again and ZHS prevails with a 16-14 win in 8 innings. Luis Escalante and Kerrington Cross each had two hits to pace the Bulldogs.
