First Quarter

The Brownsburg Bulldogs put together an almost 6 minute drive to begin the game. The Bulldogs faced only one 3rd down before quarterback Kyle Strakis found Bryce Kirtz in the corner of the end zone. Fishers went 3 and out on their first possession and was forced to punt. The Bulldogs put another score on the board as Strakis’ pass went just over the fingertips of a Tigers defensive back for a 53 yard touchdown pass. The Tigers put together a 4 minute drive to end the first quarter aided by two big penalties against the Bulldogs.

The Tigers got on the board early in the 2nd quarter with a 34 yard field goal by Ben Norton. The Bulldogs answered right back to extend their lead to 21-3 after a 41 yard pass play led to an eventual 10 yard pass to Kirtz again. The Tigers special teams had issues with the punt snap as it went over the punter’s head and was recovered at the Tigers 10 yard line. Two plays later however, Roman Molden stepped in front of a pass at the goal line and returned it to the Bulldogs 33. The Tigers found the end zone for the first time as Matthew Wolff scored from 1 yard out. With less than two minutes remaining in the half, Brownsburg ripped off a 68 yard run that put them into the red zone. Strakis found Kirtz for the third time
Third Quarter

The Bulldogs offense continued moving in the 3rd quarter. The Bulldogs put together an 80 yard drive including a 30 yard pass before Strakis passed for his 5th touchdown of the night. The Tigers tried to answer with a drive of their own, but the second snap of the drive was fumbled and the Bulldogs jumped on it at the Tigers 35. Five plays later, Strakis again passed for a touchdown – this time to Reis Thomas to make it 41-13 in favor of the Bulldogs. The Tigers again mounted a nice drive, but Wolff’s pass for Syrus was intercepted in the end zone for a touchback by the Bulldogs.
